AMAZING to realize that-
1. It has been sooo long since Aaron, Jennifer, Lance and other friends had our booth in 1996 at the SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL COMIC CON!
2. The event will not be held at the San Diego Convention Center for the first time in 50 years!
While reviewing my footage taken from inside the 'CON' in the early 2-thousands it is amazing to see how it had grown to these immense proportions in a relatively short amount of time.
In fact, for some time now, those who would like to attend the event have been turned away because of the 'limited' space. Talk has been that it might be moved to Anaheim someday.
(FYI-As a native of San Diego, I believe this site is, without a doubt, the most wonderful place on Earth for such an epic event to be held.)
On the other paw, I believe that EVERYONE who would like to attend should have the experience made possible- not improbable.
Nevertheless; news of its cancellation unfortunately makes sense when one views my video footage.
Talk about the LACK of 'social distancing'!
One would have to be an alien or super-human NOT to catch any avenging virus in an environment like this!
Disappointing= YES. Necessary=Obviously
SO . . . . Try to imagine the excitement, celebrating when the CON is resumed and continues on for many years to come.
Let us not forget those whose lives have been altered by this terrible pandemic.
May love and our appreciation for all that is Good persist in these troubled times.
Meanwhile; please stay COMIC-CONSIOUS.
