Young people are living for the moment, and that is as it should be IF they see the BIG PICTURE, and CosPLAY accordingly!
Pictured here is Tom Baker of DR.WHO fame (one of the most famous and loved of the 'Doctors). Also pictured is Christopher Crouch and his wife (Colleen) who met at a Dr. Who convention a bunch of years ago.
SO . . you might ask?
So, please think about this:
The costumes, the place, the venue, the FUN will be recorded for the ages to come. As you plan, create, and wear your creations think of it as creating your own timeline to the future as well.
You control what future generations will see and know about YOU.
These folks, for example, have been intimately involve with the BBC epic known as 'Dr. Who' for many years now- decades actually. This series is still ongoing and it's past and present will live on for as long as the internet exists!
When Chris started working at the BBC he had no ideas that the Dr. Who products, i.e., toys, figures, clothing would change the world of sci-fi merchandizing forever- but it has, and is still going strong.
Now Chris and his wife are living, not in Britain, but in Central California in a rural setting.
Chris is being interviewed by us when he is now very 'senior' and his tales are historical epics. WHO knew- to pun?
The point is this:
Take your FUN and CONsciousness SERIOUSLY! The things that are for the moment, are just that- for now. But . . . . we hope you realize that what you do today will be so much more astounding when you and your children's children look back on what you are doing and will be doing at these Comic Conventions.
You are essentially a 'time-traveler' because you are creating what you and others will enjoy, relive and look at in the future. Even tomorrow is the 'future'.
It is all a matter of degree.
WHO knew TOM BAKER of Dr. Who fame, his wife COLLEEN who met Chris at a Dr. Who convention and CHRIS himself, would share the stories of the early days of Dr. Who, half way around the world, many moons later, simply because someone told me who he was, where he lived, and how to get to interview him for two outstanding hours.
We, at CINEMACIRCUS.NET, are looking forward to hearing YOUR STORY, and seeing YOUR PHOTOS and making YOUR VIDEOS that will live on long after you . . . well . . . . ENJOY the RIDE!!
We will see YOU at the next Comic Convention.
REMEMBER what Micah is saying, "YOU can run, but you can't HIDE-
so show us your BeST 'game'"!
