I am amazed that I can make a mistake when I ask a question and still get a 'correct' answer! This will apply to your networking over the web. You will succeed in getting an answer to almost any input on the 'address bars', but it may not be the one you want.
For instance, I wrote the wrong address for this site, BUT I got an answer. It was not the correct one for me, but it was correct. Crazy-yep.
There are so MANY websites out there that one can write in almost any word, or phrase and come up with a result.
I have some domain names in the works: universeofvoid.com,cinemacircus.net, Pro-Motion Productions, CraterWear. I don't use all of them yet, but try and find one like I did. I went through names that I was SURE no one was clever enough to think up. Well, think again!
You need to go to Beth Bridges and find out how to network! Go to the Clovis Chamber of Commerce and learn her tried and true methods. WHY you ask?
In my estimation, 'word of mouth' and good old hand shaking is the best way to set yourself apart. One needs to build up a reputation locally and expand from there! This is IMHO as Beth FB'ed me today. Only way you can get the wrong answer is find someone who is so new to their business that they forget where or who they work for- hopefully not likely.
So, if you have a domain name that you may use in the future, I would suggest you snag it before someone else, be it a business, movie title, etc. It is cheap and may spurn you on to get in gear and make the website for it.
OH! I live on hand shakes and business cards. Please ask those who need to create or reorder there cards to do two things. One: do not use a dark color on a dark background. TWO: Please use a font that does not require a microscope to see. ( I am getting old, but . . . .)
Don't you want people t
Waiting is for restaurant employees- not YOU!
TKS for reading!
